An op-ed regarding the status of Ukraine's NATO membership by faculty member Victoria Somoff was published in The Guardian on July 27th 2024. Written as an open letter signed by over 150 scholars from western and European universities, it has been viewed and reposted multiple times on social media and translated and commented upon in many Ukrainian publications.

Olena Stiazhkina, Prominent Ukrainian writer and history professor exiled from Donetsk since the 2014 Russian occupation gave a lecture on November 9, 2023, give a presentation on the occasion of the upcoming publication of her two books in the English language, the novel "Cecil the Lion Had to Die" and "Ukraine, War, Love: A Donetsk Diary".

Nine members of the Dartmouth Student Alliance for Ukraine accompanied by the faculty advisor Victoria Somoff traveled to New York City on June 14-16 to meet with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine and Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, Sergiy Kyslytsya. The trip was sponsored by the Dickey Center for International Understanding.
