A translation of "Across the River They're Making Chocolate" done in part by Associate Professor Ainsley Morse has been quoted in coverage of the show trial of Vsevolod Korolev. Korolev read the original poem as part of his closing statement to the court, which has sentenced him to three years on charges of "disseminating fake news" about the Russian army. The translation of the poem was used with permission of the translators: Ainsley Morse and Timmy Straw in an article on The Russian Reader.
