My research generally is based on the material of literary and non-literary translation, its theory, practice, and teaching, and concerns the history of translation and censorship in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. My current research divides into three strands outlined below, each associated with a continuous record of peer-reviewed publications and a sustained grant-seeking narrative. The first research strand develops the historiography of Ukrainian translation and includes newly published book chapters in Translation Studies in Ukraine as an Integral Part of the European Context (2023), Russian Literary Translation in the Global Context (2024), co-authored encyclopedic articles in The Routledge Handbook of the History of Translation Studies (2024), The Routledge Handbook of Translation and Censorship (2024), and authored an article accepted for publication by East/West: Journal of Ukrainian Studies. I have six new (2024) and forthcoming publications in the field of the history of translation and translation studies with a prominent press.
