These feature and documentary films, made between the 1980s and the present day, track patterns of cultural and political change, state & domestic violence, social inequalities, and racism in recent Russian society.

Note that “Atlantis” (2019), to be screened on August 16, is a Ukrainian film that presciently imagines the aftermath of a war with Russia (from which Ukraine emerges battered but victorious).
