[more]I will be working at The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland. There I will get to apply my Math and Russian Language majors focusing on Cryptography and linguistics work. I also hope to continue to work on and publish Russian to English translations. Finally, I will be working to take graduate classes and apply to joint Math PhD and Russian Language programs.
[more]After studying Government, Economics, and Russian at Dartmouth, I am working as a credit analyst at KBRA, a credit rating agency in New York City. I am responsible for producing research on the global transportation industry, but I spend most of my time focusing on aviation. I have been pleasantly surprised with how my Russian studies have helped me in this position as I've been assigned to analyze numerous Russian airlines, many of which do not get much news coverage outside of Russia.
